Most important announcement: My friend Tan is the winner of “Hamlet’s Blackberry”! Tan writes a lovely blog about being an environmentally-conscious parent that I urge y’all to go read pronto. Then you too will think of her when you clean your toilet.
Second most important announcement: Good websites are not static. They are ever-shifting reflections of multi-dimensional people, people who can’t be reduced to something as flippant as a “brand.”
Writing for actuallygiving.com for the last six months has been some of the most quietly exhilarating stuff I’ve done. I’ve just loved it. And while I still have a list of giving-related posts to write, entirely other topics have also been elbowing for attention. Topics like death. And time. And fabulous red dresses.
So. The url of this site has changed from Actually Giving to my name. This is where I’m supposed to put some inspiring sentence about what’s going to come, but I don’t really know yet what that is.
Which I find rather exciting.

Least most important announcement: Website has been redesigned (and by redesign I mean re-templated). I pretty much have no idea what I’m doing as I tinker about so please ‘scuse the .css dust.
